Upper Patuxent Archaeology Group (UPAG) is a chapter of the Archaeology Society of Maryland, Inc.  UPAG was established in 1978 as a way to:

Discover materials from the past and learn what they can teach us about our shared cultural heritage;

Preserve the fragile stories of our  communities for future generations;

Share the knowledge of how those before us lived, worked and shaped their environment.
