November Meeting

Join UPAG at the Heritage House on Monday, November 13th for our next Monthly Meeting! UPAG President Kelly Palich will be presenting her graduate research – the analysis of an early-to-mid-eighteenth century trash filled cellar. Research was conducted in 2008 to identify the location of the 17th-century Manor, Wollaston Manor. While this site was confirmed not to be the ruins of the original Manor, come learn how an old trash pit helps archaeologists understand about “Conspicuous Consumption” of an eighteenth-century middling tenant family in Charles County, Maryland.
